Who we are

Dandeli Wildwater (“D2W”, “we”, “us”) offers stays and outdoor experiences in and around Dandeli, Karnataka, India. This policy covers this website and enquiries you send us through it.

What this website collects

This site has no account system, no login and no enquiry form. It does not ask you to type your name, email address or phone number anywhere on the page.

Two things are stored in your own browser and never sent to us:

Your theme preference (dawn, day, dusk or night), kept in local storage so the site looks the same on your next visit.
Campaign parameters from the link you arrived on (for example utm_source or a Google click identifier), kept in session storage for the duration of your visit and cleared when you close the tab.

Analytics and advertising

If Google Analytics or the Meta pixel are configured by the operator, those services load on this site and set their own cookies, and they receive page views and interaction events such as “WhatsApp button clicked”, together with the campaign parameters described above. They do not receive your name or your phone number. When those tools are not configured, no third-party analytics scripts are loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Photographs on this site are served from a third-party image network, which receives your IP address as part of delivering them, as any web server does.

When you contact us

Choosing WhatsApp opens a conversation in WhatsApp, and choosing to call opens your phone dialler. From that point the conversation is handled inside those apps and is also subject to their own privacy terms. We keep what you tell us — such as your dates, group size and requirements — for as long as we need it to plan and deliver your trip and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers involved in delivering your trip, and where the law requires it.

You can clear the stored theme and campaign values at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. To ask what enquiry information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, contact us using the details below.
